Šenov Transporting Company, Ltd. was established in the year 1994 on the foundations of Dopravní a mechanizační středisko Šenov (Transporting and Mechanization Centre Senov) of the dissolved Báňská stavební společnost (Banska Construction Company, Inc.). The company has built its technical and administrative facilities on the company´s grounds in Senov, Tesinska Street, located near by Mlýny Šenov (Senov Mills) and ČSAD Havířov garages (Havirov municipal bus garages).
The company is systematicaly divided according to particular manufactural activities as follows:
Division 30 – service garages
Division 40 – road transport workplace
Division 50 – scoop loaders workplace
Division 80 – building activities
Former business activites consisting of entire road transport, scoop loaders and machines demolition has been gradually extended and suplemented with another business – especially with building constructing, including building modifications, maintaining services and clearing off. In this field the company focuses especially on a complex realization of engineering network, building substructures, hard surfaces, route systems and pavements. As an additional business activity the company runs small metal manufacture, selling and distribution of diesel and fuel oil, slag aggregate, natural gravel and mulch cortex.
