Opening of cable production in Chyše is dated back to 1970 when in former premises of Prague Kabla Hostivař were produced only low-frequency cables and cables for airborne networks together with drawing and tinning of copper wires. Since May 1992 has begun a new phase of this production when Cable works Chyše was established as a branch office of joint stock company Lamela with its seat in Sušice and it is the company with purely Czech capital. Over the years we have gradually built the all parts which ensure full functioning of production and business too. Thanks to this development the company Cable works Chyše find its place in the Czech market. In order to facilitate the orientation in the focus of the company we changed the name of the company to Lamela Electric Inc.
After the year 2000 we significantly increased the production capacities in the sphere of insulation and sheathing lines and other machines and equipment not only for production of quality cables but also for increase of work productivity and general activity of the entire plant. Significant help in this field were possibilities which were given by development programmes with financial support from EU which were used for fulfilment of strategic goals of the company.
Currently is the company focused on the production, development and increase of utility properties of halogen-free flame retardant cables, extra-flexible cables for industrial applications in robotics, cable for collecting BUS systems, cables for measuring and regulations and cables for data transmissions with high technical parameters. All of these products are produced and supplied in many variants of implementation to agree with the most demanding clients. Developmental capacity and experiences of production enable meet the requirements for fire protection and protection of persons that is required by national and EU legislation and special requirement such as Prague metro too.
High quality of products and processes is entirely natural condition of all our activity. Quality is understood as supply of product that fully accordant with mutually agreed technical specification for predetermined price, in given time and place including necessary technical service and professional consultancy. To these complex requirements respond the established quality management system EN ISO 9001:2008 which is annually successfully audited.
The good reputation of products by Cable works Chyše is evidenced by the fact that they are used in a number of important buildings such as office and administrative buildings, hospitals, schools, hotels, civic properties, construction of transport infrastructure, Prague metro, nuclear power plants, safety of railways, airports, control of air traffic and many others.
