Basic informations

We deal with the sale of steel sheets and metal products.

KARLA spol. s r.o. trading company and manufacturers, based in Bruntál, have been trading since 1991.

Our limited liability company is composed of a total of five divisions, of which the largest is the Metal Products division in Ostrava, dealing in the purchase and sale of metal products, mainly unaltered steel plates and steel plates flame-shaped on CNC machines, as well as the sale of metal sections and not forgetting the manufacture of welding products. The T.O.V. KARLA Ukrajina branch was set up to improve the quality of flame shaping not far from the city of Uzhhorod, in Perechyn. We are also active in Slovakia, our daughter company KARLA – Slovensko, s.r.o. provides storage space for steel sheets and repurchased scrap metal in Žilina. Our customers are mainly engineering companies who we supply with metal sheets, sections and flame-shaped metal for further processing.

The Metal waste division has six fully equipped scrap metal purchasing units in the Czech Republic and one in Slovakia which purchase and process scrap metal. Two mobile presses and mobile shear machines, which are rented out for the stamping and cutting of scrap metal, are used to process the metals. For our company customers, skip transport to the required location is provided free of charge.

The Hydraulics division in Opava mainly supplies hydraulic cylinders for the mining and extraction industries, as well as providing design and construction solutions in hydraulics.

The Plastics recycling division in Bruntál deals with the purchase and processing of plastics waste. It is equipped with modern multi-phase processing equipment. It currently processes all categories of plastics waste within the Czech Republic.

The Aluminium granulate division in Krnov deals with the mechanical processing of scrap aluminium. The product is suitable for the steel industry in the de-oxidation phase, for the chemicals industry etc.

As part of our service, we provide transport, the cutting up of individual sheets and non-destructive ultrasound testing according to customer requirements.

Among our largest suppliers we can include ArcelorMittal Ostrava, ArcelorMittal Frýdek-Místek and EVRAZ VÍTKOVICE STEEL. We provide quality guarantees in accordance with designated norms. We can also provide the option to purchase specialist orders directly with the supplier.
